New York Polyphony Set to Perform at UMO
MOUNT OLIVE- New York Polyphony will perform at the University of Mount Olive on Thursday, October 25, at 7:30 PM in Rodgers Chapel.
New York Polyphony is a two-time Grammy nominated vocal chamber ensemble that has reached wide acclaim. The group consists of four men described as “singers of superb musicianship and vocal allure” by The New Yorker. The singers give vibrant, modern voice to repertoire ranging from Gregorian chant to cutting-edge compositions. New York Polyphony’s dedication to innovative programming, along with their focus on rare and rediscovered Renaissance and medieval works, has helped move early music into the classical mainstream.
