Internships
All UMO agriculture students complete at least one internship during their course of study at UMO. Internships allow students to gain valuable experience with potential employers in the field of agriculture. Internships allow students to develop a resume and to learn more about career interests. Students are able to find their own internships and UMO faculty share potential internship opportunities as they are made available throughout the year. Students have participated in internships with diversified farming operations, livestock production companies, state or national parks, agribusinesses, governmental affairs, nursery and greenhouse operations, and a wide array of local, state, and national agricultural agencies and organizations.
Potential Internships are available from:
- Commodity Groups
- Research Stations
- Agribusinesses
- Producers
- Livestock Production
- Diversified Farms
- Agricultural Manufacturing and Processing
Every student will have the opportunity to complete internships during their course of study.
