The University of Mount Olive has three clubs associated with science: Henderson Science Club, Beta Beta Beta, and the Chemistry Club.
HENDERSON SCIENCE CLUB
The HSC is open to all students with an interest in science. Activities include fundraisers such as bake sales and car washes, fun activities like bowling and educational trips, and helping with the annual STEM Day for middle schoolers. You can find it on Facebook here.
BETA BETA BETA
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is an honor society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. UMO hosts a chapter of this society and annually inducts members.
Chemistry club is open to all students interested in the chemical sciences. Past activities have included selling goggles, recycling batteries, and performing chemistry demonstrations.
