The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), set to begin in fall 2017, is a transfer friendly degree program offered by the Tillman School of Business. The combination of managerial, interpersonal, and professional skills gained through the program are invaluable in the workplace. Students learn the general principles of business administration in addition to the mechanics of how to run an organization.
As a Bachelor of Business Administration student, some of the topics you will study include:
- Theories and Principles of Law
- Human Resources
Students in the BBA program have two options to customize their plan of study:
- Complete the BBA only
- Complete the BBA plus an additional minor
Employers need graduates with business administration degrees, and this program provides a strong general foundation in business administration along with specialized classes that will enhance the student’s industry-specific skills. Students learn not only the hands-on skills necessary for success, but also the proficiencies needed to be a successful team leader.
This degree allows students the opportunity to transfer as many as 35 semester hours of general electives. Students may also petition to receive Experiential Learning Credit (ELC) for the knowledge, training, and skills they previously learned outside of the traditional academic setting.
The BBA provides an expedited path for students interested in pursuing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
