Offered through the University of Mount Olive’s Robert L. Tillman School of Business, the Master of Business Administration degree program prepares graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in an ever-evolving business community. Using over 25 years of experience in non-traditional education, the University of Mount Olive designed the MBA program to provide a framework conducive to both academic and professional success while promoting a healthy work-life balance.
UMO offers online classes with opportunities to start in spring, summer, and fall terms. Each student is assigned a personal admissions representative, program advisor, and financial aid advisor for support from their first course through graduation.

The MBA program can be completed in as few as three semesters. The 36 credit-hour MBA program provides students with diverse knowledge in accounting, management, information systems, finance, economics, business law, and ethics. In a culminating, two-course capstone experience in Strategic Management, students integrate and apply knowledge learned throughout the program. The common thread of ethical decision-making skills emphasized throughout our program provides a taste of the history of the University of Mount Olive, a character of values and integrity.

The 39 credit hour UMO MBA: Healthcare Management degree develops a student’s proficiency in healthcare management and establishes the requisite knowledge to seamlessly merge into conversations more specific to economics, finance, marketing, and accounting. Graduates become versatile and marketable in a relatively short period of time with the possibility of completing the MBA Healthcare Management track in as few as four semesters.

The online MBA program allows students to take courses 100% online. In addition, students have the option to complete their coursework at the time and place that is convenient. This program is available in a one-year accelerated or two-year option.
