COVID-19 Heathy Practices
- The 3 W’s of Prevention
- Wash your hands often, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Particularly after being in a public space, blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, or after removing or touching your face covering.
- Wear a cloth face covering in public. It should cover your nose and mouth. Do not touch the front of the face covering. Remove the face covering by the loops. Do not wear the face covering under your nose or chin.
- Wait to avoid close contact. When possible maintain at least a 6 feet, about 2 arms’ length, distance between yourself and other people. Close contact is defined as being within six feet of someone for 10 min or longer, which has shown increases the risk of transmission of the virus.
- Clean and Disinfect Frequently Touched Surfaces
- Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces. Do not forget your electronics, including your phone. Reference your user guide for proper cleaning of electronics.
- Routinely launder clothing, to include jackets and hoodies. Do not forget book bags and athletic bags if can be laundered
