The School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Mount Olive seeks applicants for the Graduate Program Clinical Coordinator position for the Counseling Department.  This position will be an Allied Faculty position (part-time).

The Graduate Program Clinical Coordinator oversees and coordinates the clinical training experiences for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program students. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a liaison between the academic program, training sites, and the students. The person in this position will assist students in the practicum/internship site placements process, assist and orchestrate training opportunities for site supervisors, manage Tevera, and oversee all aspects of the Practicum and Internship experience of Counseling Program students at the university. Some teaching/faculty supervision of practicum and internship courses may be required, dependent on the size of the cohort in practicum/internship courses during a given semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or related profession
  • Strong technical competency. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills are required.

The following qualifications are also strongly preferred:

  • Professional Counseling experience
  • Experience supervising field practicum and internship experiences
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
  • Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and
  • Certified Counseling Supervisor (CCS) or Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI)
