The University of Mount Olive seeks applications for a Director of Pre-Licensure Nursing to join our faculty at the main campus in Mount Olive, North Carolina. We are seeking an individual to direct our Pre-Licensure BSN program.

The position is a 12-month full-time faculty position with teaching responsibilities in the area of your expertise.  This position reports directly to the Nursing Department Chair and works under the supervision of the Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences and the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Requirements include:

• Teach undergraduate coursework in your area of expertise to both our daytime and fast-track night-time students
• Responsible for Directing all aspects of the Pre-Licensure program in accordance with NCBON rules and regulations and in compliance with CCNE accreditation Standards
• Maintain an NCLEX pass rate of 85% or above for all cohorts
• Works with Nursing Department Chair on staffing, outreach, recruitment, and day-to-day operations of the Pre-Licensure program

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned Master’s degree or higher in Nursing; A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in Pre-Licensure Nursing in an NCBON-approved Nursing program; Holds an active, unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license recognized by the NCBON
