Collegiate FFA
Collegiate FFA is the flagship agricultural student organization at UMO. Collegiate FFA extends the experience that the National FFA Organization provides students in high school by allowing active members to host and coordinate NC and National FFA Conventions, regional rallies, inservice meetings, coordinate events, chapter meetings, and much more. Collegiate FFA welcomes members regardless of past membership or involvement with the National FFA Organization and is open to all UMO students.
Collegiate Young Farmer & Rancher
Collegiate Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) is a partnership with NC Farm Bureau and the University of Mount Olive. YF&R focuses on advocacy and specific issues facing agriculture. YF&R members compete annually in the Collegiate Discussion Meet and attend NC Farm Bureau and American Farm Bureau events to network and learn more about agricultural issues and ideas. YF&R is open to juniors and seniors majoring in agriculture at UMO.
Trojan Wildlife Society
The Trojan Wildlife Society (TWS) is a local chapter of The Wildlife Society, an international organization focused on global issues pertinent to wildlife domestically and worldwide. TWS is open to all UMO students with an interest in wildlife, fisheries, and environmental and natural resources.
Animal Science Club
The Animal Science Club at the University of Mount Olive allows students to participate in animal science and livestock related events and competitions. Animal Science Club members participate in collegiate livestock judging, compete in Forage Bowl and Dairy Challenge events, and work to support livestock and animal science on campus and in the community. Membership is open to all UMO students.
Henderson Science Club
Henderson Science Club (HSC) is open to all students with an interest in science. Activities include fundraisers such as bake sales and car washes, fun activities like bowling and educational trips, and helping with the annual STEM Day for elementary school students.
