Elementary Education
The online Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree program prepares students for a career as a K–6 elementary teacher. Delivered in an online cohort model, the program fosters collaborative learning and peer support, allowing students to progress through coursework together while building meaningful professional connections. Students begin the program each fall, with one start date offered annually, creating a consistent and connected learning experience. Earning this degree serves as a pathway to entering the field of education and earning a North Carolina teaching license.
At this early stage of learning, educators are responsible for identifying students’ strengths and areas for growth.
