The University of Mount Olive is committed to providing transparent and affordable tuition for adult learners pursuing online undergraduate degrees. Our per-credit-hour pricing model allows students to clearly understand their educational costs before enrolling, making it easier to plan financially while balancing work, family, and other commitments.

The tuition and fees listed below apply to online undergraduate programs and reflect current academic year rates. These costs do not include textbooks or optional expenses but provide a clear baseline for budgeting your education.

Adult and Online Programs Student tuition will be billed at the rate of $455 per credit hour for Academic Year 26-27. This rate is for all courses and does not include the price of course textbooks. There will be a general fee of $150 and technology fee of $50 assessed to each student per semester.

The Teacher Residency Licensure rate is $250 per credit hour for the Academic Year 26-27. There will be a general fee of $150 and technology fee of $50 assessed to each student per semester.

How Online Undergraduate Tuition Is Structured

UMO’s online undergraduate tuition is billed on a per-credit-hour basis, allowing students to control costs by adjusting course loads each term. This structure supports adult learners who may need flexibility as they progress through their degree. Graduation Fee
The $100 graduation fee will cover cap and gown/announcements (Bookstore), processing fee/diploma/tickets (Registrar’s Office), and cost associated with the graduation ceremony. If a student chooses not to attend graduation, the fee will still be assessed to their account. Additional diplomas cost $35 each.

Experiential Learning Credit Assessment Fee
The ELC is $100 per semester hour approved (nonrefundable).
