Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company Named as 2025 UMO Homecoming Weekend Presenting Sponsor

MOUNT OLIVE, NC— The University of Mount Olive has announced that Atlantic Casualty Insurance Companywill once again serve as the presenting sponsor for its highly anticipated 2025 Homecoming Weekend, scheduled for November 21–22. The celebration will unite alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members for two days of Trojan pride, tradition, and entertainment.
This year’s activities will feature a full slate of events, including the annual Golf Tournament, the highly anticipated Pickle Classic basketball games, and recognition ceremonies for both the Alumni Awards and the Athletics Hall of Fame. Guests can also enjoy a lively Fall Festival, complete with food trucks and a dynamic musical lineup featuring the Amazing Lounge Lizards, Eli Winders Band, Luke Shamblin & Friends, the UMO Concert Choir, Carolina Sound, and the UMO Chapel Band. The festival is free and open to the community, offering a chance for local families and friends to share in the Trojan spirit.
Additional highlights include the UMO Student Art Show, which will showcase the creativity of UMO’s talented students, along with pottery demonstrations and a sale, featuring works by local artisans.
“Homecoming is always one of the most exciting weekends of the year,” said Dwayne McKay, the event coordinator. “It’s more than just a reunion, it is a time to celebrate Trojan pride, honor the accomplishments of our alumni and athletes, and welcome our community to campus. With the variety of performances and activities planned, this year’s Homecoming promises to be our best yet.”
