University of Mount Olive Opens Nominations for 2026 Alumni Awards

MOUNT OLIVE — The University of Mount Olive is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Alumni Awards, inviting alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to help recognize graduates who continue to make a meaningful impact in their professions and communities.

The annual awards honor outstanding University of Mount Olive alumni whose achievements, leadership, and service reflect the institution’s values and mission. From professional success to community engagement, recipients represent the lasting influence of a UMO education.

Nominations opened on April 2 and remain open through June 15. Individuals are encouraged to submit the names of alumni who exemplify excellence, integrity, and a commitment to serving others.

“These awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni and the many ways they carry forward the University’s mission,” said Vice President for Advancement Dr. Twyla Wells. “Our graduates are making a difference across a wide range of fields, and we look forward to recognizing those who continue to lead and serve with purpose.”

To submit a nomination, complete the online form available at umo.edu/submit-alumni-award-nomination/. Award recipients will be recognized during Homecoming Weekend.
