Carolina Brass to Perform at University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE- The Carolina Brass Ensemble, one of the finest brass ensembles in the country, will perform at University of Mount Olive on Thursday, September 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Rodgers Chapel on the campus of University of Mount Olive.

As a national touring ensemble and Summit Recording Artist, Carolina Brass has quickly become the premiere brass ensemble of the southeast, raising the bar for music performance and education in America.   From the elegance and grace of beautiful classical music to the hard driving sound of a big band, their winning combination of virtuosity and humor brings a fresh approach to great music of all types, engaging audiences in a vibrant and energetic musical experience.

The University of Mount Olive Concert Series presents four events each year, offering a variety of artists such as concert pianists, string quartets, jazz ensembles, opera singers, and chamber music ensembles.
