CJ Students Experience Virtual Reality

On March 4, members of the SLJA and FLAGSA traveled to Craven Community College’s VOLT Center in New Bern, NC for a tour of their police and citizen interaction simulator.

The students participated in several real-life based scenarios dealing with the public. They used their reasoning, tactical, and communication skills to handle each individual situation as it played out on the simulator screen.  “We had a great time, which included lunch, fellowship, and team building,” said Professor Willie Wilcutt.
