Ed Stephenson And The Paco Band To Perform At Mount Olive College

MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive Concert Series presents Ed Stephenson and the Paco Band on Thursday, January 19 at 7:30 PM in Southern Bank Auditorium located in W. Burkette and Rose M. Raper Hall.

Ed Stephenson and the Paco Band is a Spanish music and Nuevo flamenco ensemble, performing original compositions and music by:  Paco De Lucia, Ottmar Liebert, Isaac Albeniz, Enrique Granados, and Luigi Boccerini.

Stephenson, from Raleigh, NC, heads Guitar Studies at Meredith College. He has performed with the North Carolina Symphony, the North Carolina Theater, the North Carolina Bach Festival, and the National Opera Company.  Stephenson performs throughout North America as a soloist, as a member of the North Carolina Guitar quartet, and with the Paco Band.  Stephenson’s latest album is, Ino Live.  For more information on Ed Stephenson and the Paco Band, visit www.edwardstephenson.com.

University of Mount Olive hosts four concerts each year, offering a variety of artists such as concert pianists, string quartets, jazz ensembles, opera singers, and chamber music ensembles.
