Gloriana and Casey James to Perform at University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE – The 2012 University of Mount Olive Fall Fest Concert proudly presents award winning country music group Gloriana and American Idol finalist Casey James on Friday, October 12, at 7:00 PM in the Kornegay Arena. The event is open to the public.
Casey James was a top three finalist on the ninth season of American Idol. The guitarist opened up for Sugarland on their The Incredible Machine Tour and performed all over the country in the American Idols LIVE 2010 tour. His self-titled album “Casey James” debuted at number two on the Billboard Country Album Chart earlier this year. Casey co-wrote nine of the tracks on his album and cites southern rockers and blues guitarists as his biggest influences. The second single from his debut album titled “Crying On A Suitcase” was recently released.
Gloriana is a country music group composed of Tom Gossin, Mike Gossin and Rachel Reinert. Their debut single, “Wild at Heart”, was a Top 15 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2009. Their current single, “(Kissed You) Good Night” is currently in the number seven spot on the Billboard Country Singles Chart. Gloriana is the 2009 American Music Awards Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards Top New Vocal Group. Their second album “A Thousand Miles Left Behind” is set for release on July 31.
