Guilford County Student Receives Award at the University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE – A Guilford County student was recognized for her achievement at the University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony.

Emily Chaisson of Greensboro received the Award for Excellence in Science. Chaisson is a senior chemistry major.  This award is given to an outstanding returning science major who has demonstrated excellence in the physical sciences, and is selected by the Department of Biological and Physical Sciences.

The University of Mount Olive is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values.
