All traditional students at the University of Mount Olive are eligible to use the services of the Health Center. All visits are confidential and staffed by a licensed registered nurse.

What We Do
  • Arrange for physicals or hospital referrals as warranted
  • Over-the-counter medications available at no cost to students
  • Follow-up wound care
  • Monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Health education
  • Lab testing including pregnancy and strep infection
  • First aid
What We Don't Do
  • Allergy shots
  • Write prescriptions

Physical Form: Students taking four or more credit hours are asked to submit a physical form dated within one year of attendance, signed by a physician or advanced practice professional. This is a recommendation for non-athletes — student athletes are required to submit a physical and should contact their athletic trainer for specific requirements. Submit your physical form by mail using the green Health Services envelope from your admission package, or fax to 919-635-3778.
