Leipers Fork Bluegrass Group to Perform at UMO

MOUNT OLIVE- The Leipers Fork Bluegrass Group will perform at the University of Mount Olive (UMO) on Thursday, September 13, at 7:30 PM in the Hazel Waters Kornegay Assembly Hall.

 

Known for their distinct magical vocal harmonies and driving instrumentalists, the Leipers Fork Bluegrass Group adds the compliment of true entertainment. More than a band, they are an ever- growing legacy. Nearing ten years of existence, The Leipers Fork Bluegrass Group, is always soaring to new heights and superseding expectations. These men love God, each other, and the gift of music.

 

An educational session on the history of bluegrass will follow the concert on Friday, September 14, at 12:30 PM in the Hazel Waters Kornegay Assembly Hall.

 

The events are funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment of the Arts and by UMO. The public is invited to attend both of these FREE events.
