New Student Check-In
New student check-in will be on Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the Kornegay Arena. Students will receive an email regarding check-in procedures and assigned times. Please monitor your official UMO email for additional information.
Students should not arrive prior to their scheduled time, which are listed below:

Grantham Hall- 1st & 3rd Floors Odd Room Numbers
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Hart Hall- Even Room Numbers

All Commuting Students
Students are limited to one guest who may accompany them for the check-in process. Upon arrival to campus, all students must report to Kornegay Arena at their scheduled time. There, students and their guest will;
• Have their temperature taken
• Complete a COVID-19 self-screening questionnaire
• Speak with a staff member about any health-related questions or concerns
• Receive your personal COVID-19 safety kit that includes: UMO face mask, thermometer and sanitation kit
The guest will not be permitted inside of the residence hall space.
Buildings and Grounds Crew will be available to assist with moving heavy items that the student may be unable to move.
We will have two hospitality tents for the student’s guest while the student is moving into the residence hall.
Further details about move-in day and orientation procedures, protocols and schedules will be communicated with students through their official UMO email.
Students moving into on-campus housing will be required to practice social distancing, wash hands, and wear a face mask at all times.
