
UMO Holds 5K Color Run

MOUNT OLIVE – The University of Mount Olive women’s lacrosse team along with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee recently coordianted a 5k color run. The color run was open to students, staff, faculty, and the community to promote health and wellness and raise funds for Make A Wish Foundation, the Jordyn Clark Foundation, and the University of Mount Olive.
Around 250 people attended the event. “It was a great time for students, staff, and the community to engage and spend time focusing on the importance of mental and physical wellbeing,” said Director of Student Athlete Development Thomas Capers.
