UMO to Host Wayne County Reads Event

MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive will hold a lecture for the Wayne County Reads Event on Tuesday, April 26, at 7 PM in Southern Bank Auditorium.

Dr. Elliot Engel of Raleigh will present his lecture “The Cold Genius of Robert Frost.” The lecture will discuss the themes and work of the poet and explore Frost’s literary excellence.

Also on April 26 at 1 PM, Engel will speak to a group of high school juniors from Southern Wayne High School about Edgar A. Poe.
