UMO Resident Advisors Help Students Transition to Campus Living

With the 2014 fall semester in full swing, the University of Mount Olive has equipped the campus with a strong group of 19 Resident Assistants (RA) to make the on-campus experience a meaningful one. The RA staff has been working hard to provide students with a warm welcome as they transition to university life and move into the resident halls and apartments.

“The RA role is a multi-faceted position where upper class students assist other residential students by creating a community atmosphere, hosting programs, enforcing policies, and addressing concerns of the students,” says Nicole Garret, director of Housing and Residence Life.
