University of Mount Olive Holds 16th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament

MOUNT OLIVE- The 16th Annual University of Mount Olive Alumni Golf Tournament was held Friday, November 16th at Southern Wayne Country Club.  Proceeds from the tournament are placed into the Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund which now totals over $77,500.
Winners of the Championship Flight were Ryan Fields, Taylor Jones, Heath Whitfield and Jeremy Williams with a score of 59.  The second place championship flight went to Bryan DeBose, Dwayne McKay, Tony Hamm and Clark Rose with a score of 59.
First place second flight went to Bryant Hines, Joey Long and Brad Evans with a score of 63.  Jeremy Jeffers, Brandon Faucette, Kevin Coghill and Jonathan Gardner took home second place in the second flight with a score of 64.
“This event is about building community, connecting with our alumni, and supporting students,” says Hope Fields, director of Alumni Relations.   “We are so pleased this tournament has grown into an annual tradition, supported by alumni who are committed to helping outstanding students.”
