Wake County Residents Receive Awards At Mount Olive College
MOUNT OLIVE – Sisters Kerin and Lizzie Knapp of Wendell were recognized for their achievements at University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony. Lizzie and Kerin were both named as the Outstanding Recreation and Leisure Studies Majors. Both girls are seniors. Lizzie is majoring in recreation and leisure studies services management. Kerin is majoring in recreation and leisure studies exercise science and recreational therapy.
Lizzie also received the Senior Citizenship Award. The Senior Citizenship Award is presented by the Student Development Office to a student who has evidenced the most outstanding qualities of citizenship during his/her academic career at University of Mount Olive. The recipient of the award is selected by a committee of faculty, student, and staff representatives.
The Knapp sisters are the daughters of Curtis and Lilly Roberta Knapp
