UMO Honors Trustee Jerilyn J. Lee with Resolution of Appreciation

MOUNT OLIVE—The University of Mount Olive (UMO) Board of Trustees recently honored retiring member Jerilyn J. Lee with a Resolution of Appreciation during the Board’s September meeting.
Lee, who joined the Board of Trustees in 2007, has served the institution for 18 years, completing three six-year terms. Throughout her tenure, she contributed her professional expertise in human resources and her commitment to student success as a member of the Student Affairs Committee, as well as through her service as a member-at-large on the Executive Committee.
A UMO alumna, Lee graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development. Known for her deep love of history and expertise in genealogy, Lee also shares her knowledge through the Mount Olive Historical Association and through her writings and presentations.
UMO President Dr. H. Edward Croom said, “We are grateful for Jerilyn’s years of service, and we celebrate the meaningful difference she has made at UMO.”
