Brunswick County Students Receive Awards at UMO

MOUNT OLIVE – Two Brunswick County students were recognized for their achievements at University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony. Among those receiving awards were:

Daniel Jaramillo of Ocean Isle Beach received the Outstanding Mathematics Student Award.  Jaramillo, a senior math major, is the son of Eloy Jaramillo and Estela Dominguez.  The Outstanding Mathematics Student Award is given to an upper-class student that excels in Mathematics as determined by the Mathematics faculty. A plaque is given.

Thalia Bellamy of Longwood received the Outstanding Early Childhood Education Major award. Bellamy is a senior early childhood education major.
