Char’De Washington of Hephzibah, GA Receives Award at The University of Mount Olive

 

MOUNT OLIVE – Char’De Washington of Hephzibah, GA received the Teacher Education Student of the Year at the University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony. Washington is a senior math education major.  The Teacher Education Student of the Year is awarded to a student with a 3.0 GPA or higher.  The student must demonstrate service to K-12 education, as well as professionalism evidenced by such things as membership in PTA, attendance at professional meetings, participation in and promotion of teacher education program objectives and activities, attitude and citizenship.  The recipient is selected by the Department of Education faculty.
