Collegiate FFA Members assist with National Agricultural Event in Greensboro

Eight University of Mount Olive Collegiate FFA members served as Agricultural Ambassadors for Syngenta’s annual Demo Days in Greensboro, NC. The National Collegiate FFA office requested the assistance of CFFA members from University of Mount Olive to serve as hosts for the event.  Members took this opportunity to learn more about Syngenta and its impact on the global agriculture economy.
Syngenta invited employees from Research Triangle Park, Greensboro, Canada Syngenta locations as well as media representatives from across the nation to learn more about existing and new product lines. The conference focused on biotechnological advances that Syngenta has provided to various commodities within the industry to better sustain the growing population. The University of Mount Olive students in attendance also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Syngenta to discuss their role as young agriculturists in a growing and changing agriculture industry.
