
Davidson County Student Receives Award at the University of Mount Olive
MOUNT OLIVE – A Davidson County student was recognized for her achievements at the University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony.
Janeice Leonard of Lexington received the Outstanding Agriculture Student of the Year. Leonard is a senior agriculture education major. The outstanding agriculture student of the year award is given to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient exemplifies academic performance and leadership qualities both in and out of the classroom and must be active in agricultural events and campus organizations. This student is selected by the faculty from the Division of Agriculture and presented with a cash award.
