Duplin County Students Receive Awards at The University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE – Several Duplin County students were recognized for their achievements at The University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony.  Among those receiving awards were:

Laura Clark of Warsaw received the Human Resource Management Student of the Year. Clark is a senior human resources management major.  University accounting faculty select the recipient.  The selection process culminates in selecting a student who demonstrates extraordinary achievement, leadership, and talent both inside and outside of the classroom.

 

 

 

 

Jacob Morton of Beulaville received the Business Management Student of the Year. Morton is a senior business management major.
 

 

 

 

 

David Grady of Albertson received the The Handy Mart Business Scholarship. Grady is a junior agribusiness  major.  The Handy Mart Business Scholarship is sponsored by E. J. and Judson Pope who select two rising juniors majoring in Business Administration who best exhibit excellence in academics, university and community service and civic responsibility.

 

Joshua King of Faison received the Music Student of the Year. King is a senior music major.
