This year’s keynote speaker will be: The Rev. Dr. William H. WillimonProfessor of the Practice of Christian Ministry, Duke Divinity School

Rev. Dr. William Willimon served as the Dean of Duke Chapel and Professor of Christian Ministry at Duke University for 20 years. He recently returned to Duke Divinity School after serving as the Bishop of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church from 2004-2012. Dr. Willimon is the author of over 60 books and more than a million copies of his books have been sold. He is editor-at-large- for the Christian Century, and his articles have appeared in many publications including Theology Today, Interpretation, Liturgy, Worship, and Christianity Today. Dr. Willimon’s book, Pastor: the Theology and Practice of Ordained Ministry is used as a standard textbook in dozens of seminaries in the United States and Asia.
