Gospel Group performs at University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE – University of Mount Olive’s Voices of Praise will have a fall concert on Saturday, November 12, at 5:00 PM, in Rodger’s Chapel.  The twenty-five member ensemble includes iPraise, a praise and worship ensemble, and the band, S.W.A.G.G. (Sons with a Great Gift).  This year’s concert will also feature performances by North Carolina Wesleyan College and Barton College.

Voices of Praise, founded in 2004, began performing on campus and have recently begun performing throughout North Carolina as well as other states.

“I thoroughly enjoy working with these young people,” says Krystal Faison, advisor for the ensemble.  “They are truly a talented group and with the new leadership, including the director and current officers, great things are in store for them as long as they remember to always make God a priority in their lives.”

This event is open to the public.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a donation of canned goods which will be donated to a local charity.  For more event information, contact Krystal Faison at 919.658.7510.
