Griffin Recognized at UMO

MOUNT OLIVE- Associate Professor of Education Dr. Harold Griffin is the recipient of the 2019 Academic Resource Center (ARC) Faculty Partner of the Year.  The award is given to the UMO faculty member who has diligently promoted and enhanced the ARC student support program.

One student commented, “Dr. Griffin impacts us by modeling how we should be as future educators.”

Another student said, “Dr. Griffin gets us excited about special education through his passion and learning experiences.  He goes out of his way to make sure each student succeeds.”

Griffin received his bachelor of arts degree from Wake Forest University, his MA from the University of Iowa, and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas – Austin.  He has been employed full time with UMO since August of 2014.
