Moore Releases 30th Anniversary Edition of The Open Eye
MOUNT OLIVE- Associate Professor of English Lenard Moore recently published a limited 30th anniversary edition of his poetry book, The Open Eye. Moore is a renowned haiku practitioner, and his book is a collection of haiku that leads the reader to experience what the poet senses throughout the four seasons.
The Open Eye was first published 30 years ago. Mountains & rivers Press states, “The Open Eye provides a snapshot of haiku in the 1980s while also resonating with elements of haiku written today.” This edition also includes an introduction by Haiku Foundation President, Jim Kacian. Jonathan Greene designed The Open Eye, and the book features a cover photograph by Dobree Adams.
