Okell-Watson Appointed Assistant Director for MOC at Jacksonville and New Bern

NEW BERN – Angela Okell-Watson of New Bern has been appointed assistant director for the Jacksonville and New Bern locations of University of Mount Olive. “I am looking forward to using my leadership skills to help the College mission and the growth of staff in New Bern and Jacksonville,” said Okell-Watson.
Okell-Watson is a MOC alumna, having graduated with her bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development in 2011. She previously served University of Mount Olive for over eight years as the site administrator for the Jacksonville and New Bern locations. She will be performing many new duties in her role as assistant director including supervising staff, coordinating and monitoring events and more.
Okell-Watson is working towards a master’s degree in leadership and a graduate certificate in project management at Boston University, both of which she expects to receive in August.
