Onslow County Student Receives Award at University of Mount Olive
MOUNT OLIVE- Raymond “Stan” Smith of Richlands has received the Braswell Award at University of Mount Olive. Smith, a mathematics education major, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Smith. Stan has been a Braswell Scholar at University of Mount Olive for four years. He completed his student teaching at Spring Creek High School in Wayne County.
The Braswell Award is given to the teacher education major who has demonstrated academic excellence, professional service, and personal growth as determined by the teacher education faculty.
