Percussion Ensemble Performs At Mount Olive College

University of Mount Olive’s Percussion Ensemble will have a fall concert on Thursday, November 17, at 7:30 PM, in Southern Bank Auditorium.  The concert will feature the use of approximately 30 different types of objects that produce sound when struck, shaken, rubbed or scraped.

The Ensemble, under the direction of Jane Hanrahan, features several student percussionists.  Musical selections are drawn from composers such as Burt Bacharach, Leonard Bernstein, and several selections from Broadway plays.
