Rotary Club Presents Check to UMO

The University of Mount Olive has received a check for $19,000 from the Mount Olive Rotary Club.  It is the first installment of a $25,000 pledge towards the University’s Black Box Theatre Project.  The check was presented during the Club’s April meeting held at Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes, and Fries headquarters in Mount Olive.  “We are so appreciative of this wonderful support by the Rotary Club,” Poole said.  “This generous donation will help us get started with renovation of the former Glenn-Martin Drug Store which will become our Black Box Theatre.”
