Sing For Another Day Concert to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

MOUNT OLIVE – The Sisterhood of Crown and Martlet at University of Mount Olive is hosting the second annual Sing for Another Day concert to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. The concert will take place on Friday, October 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Southern Bank Auditorium at University of Mount Olive. The event is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.
Callie Harrison, president of The Sisterhood, commented on the concert, “Sing for Another Day is going to be a wonderful event with awesome performances! It is a great way to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation while enjoying a great show!”
The purpose of the Sing For Another Day concert is for University of Mount Olive students and faculty to perform and raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Sisterhood donates all proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the largest breast cancer awareness organization in the United States.
The Sisterhood, founded in 2011, stands for academic, social and spiritual enrichment, and strives to build unity amount the women on the College campus, as well as within the greater Mount Olive community.
