Southern Bank Foundation Presents $80,000 Check to the University of Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE – Southern Bank Foundation recently presented a check for $80,000 to the University of Mount Olive to be directed to the University’s Annual Fund. The check represents the final payment in a $400,000 pledge made by the Foundation to the University back in 2011.

“The Southern Bank Foundation has been and continues to be a wonderful friend and collaborative partner to the University of Mount Olive,” stated Dr. Philip P. Kerstetter, president. “We look forward to further collaboration with the Southern Bank Foundation as together we build a brighter future for the students of eastern North Carolina and beyond.”
