Spring Student Art Show Opens April 14th
MOUNT OLIVE – The University of Mount Olive art and visual communication majors are preparing to feature their finest work at the opening of the annual spring Student Art Show on Thursday, April 14th from 4 to 6 PM in the Teresa Pelt Grubbs Art Gallery and Laughinghouse Hall Student Gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.
The event will feature the diversity of work by students in the Department of Visual Arts, including many first-time exhibitors. The gallery will be a showcase for the work of our senior visual arts students.
“We have five graduating seniors who will display work: Paige Magee, Justin Artis, Austin Andrews, Xochitl Campuzano, and Destiny Hamilton,” said Bob Murray, associate professor of graphic design and chair of the Department of Visual Arts.
The show will be open through the end of May.
