RALEIGH, NC -Accounting students from the University of Mount Olive’s Tillman School of Business recently visited BDO, one of the nation’s top accounting firms. The event provided students the opportunity to meet with real-world accounting professionals and receive insight into the accounting industry. Students traveled to Raleigh, NC, and were given the opportunity to tour BDO, engage with audit and tax professionals, and enjoy an informative lunch with members of the BDO team.

“This event helped me to practice my networking skills, meet with accounting professionals, and ask questions to help me succeed as an accountant,” said UMO Junior Macy Parkhurst of Wayne County.

The University of Mount Olive is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values. The University was founded by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists. For more information, visit www.umo.edu.
