MOUNT OLIVE- Nearly 250 new incoming students and their parents attended the University of Mount Olive’s second Admitted Student Day on Wednesday, July 21.
During the four-hour event students met with Health Service Director Holly Daly, received student ID’s, attended an opening session with UMO President Dr. H. Edward Croom, and met with the University’s various schools and key departments. After lunch, participants had the opportunity to tour campus, including the residence halls, and visit the UMO Bookstore. Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions staff members were on hand to answer questions and assist with paperwork.
“We are so excited about having these incoming students and their parents on our campus,” said Tim Woodard, Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications. “We are looking forward to a vibrant and active fall semester. If there are students out there that have not yet made their college selection, we would love to talk with them. There is still time to enroll at the University of Mount Olive.
