UMO to Host “A Night at the Theater” Annual Winter Glitz

MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive (UMO) is preparing for its annual Winter Glitz event, which will take place in the Lois K. Murphy Regional Center on February 21st at 6:00 PM.

Hope Fields, director of Alumni Relations, commented, “Winter Glitz is a wonderful event that gives our alumni the opportunity to get dressed up and be taken away to another place for just one night.”

The theme for this year’s event is “A Night at the Theater: A Musical Celebration.” Guests will be immersed in an enchanting evening full of entertainment featuring pianist Thomas Casey from the class of 2000 and vocalists Bryan Debose from the class of 2011 and Bailey Sutton from the class of 2017. Guest will also enjoy an elegant meal.  Live and silent auctions will raise money for student scholarships. Since the event began in 2008, more than $148,000 has been added to student scholarship funds.

The event costs $75 per person or $125 per couple. For more information or to make reservations, contact Hope Fields at hfields@umo.edu or 919-658-7714 or Anne Hamm at ahamm@umo.edu or (919) 658-7822.
