UMO Hosts Workshop with Jim Steeg

MOUNT OLIVE- Jim Steeg, NFL and Sports Management Executive, recently spoke to students within the University of Mount Olive’s Tillman School of Business (TSB), RLS Sports Management, and the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department.

 

Dr. Tony Franklin, Assistant Professor of RLS Sports Management, invited Steeg to campus to share his experiences across the multidimensional sports spectrum.

 

Steeg’s career highlights include, directing and expanding the Super Bowl from a $5 million revenue event to over $250 million during his tenure. His professional career also includes 26 years as NFL Senior Vice President for Special Events, Chief Operating Officer for the San Diego Chargers, Business Manager/Controller for the Miami Dolphins, and his current position as a professional consultant.
