UMO Jazz Band to Perform April 25th

MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive (UMO) Jazz Band will perform on Thursday, April 25 at 7 PM in the Hazel Waters Kornegay Assembly Hall.

The ever-growing UMO Jazz Band combines standard jazz charts and collective creativity to produce music that is both authentic to its cultural origins and to the musician’s understanding of the piece. Music majors and non-music majors enjoy the opportunity Jazz Band gives them to improvise over standard tunes. Come listen to something old, new, borrowed, and the blues.
