MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive (UMO) will hold its annual Founders Day on Wednesday, November 17, at 11 AM in the Southern Bank Auditorium located in Raper Hall. The guest speaker will be the Reverend Frank R. Harrison, former Mount Olive College Chaplain from 1971 to 2002.
Founders Day is a time that the University pauses to reflect on and honor those who invested in the University’s beginnings. It is a time for celebrating the past, the present, and the future of the institution. This year’s celebration marks the University’s 70th anniversary.
The University of Mount Olive is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values. The University is sponsored by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists. For more information, visit www.umo.edu.
