UMO to Offer Workshop on Growing a Stronger Choir

MOUNT OLIVE- The University of Mount Olive (UMO) will host a workshop in the series entitled, “Successful Music Leadership in Today’s Church” on Saturday, September 8, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Led by Glen McCune, this workshop will focus on ways to strengthen small church choirs by exploring skills and techniques as they occur in a real choir rehearsal using actual singers.  Topics will include choosing anthems, effective conducting techniques, and singing with a powerful tone. There will be time for questions and some discussion.

All choir directors, singers, and other interested persons are invited to this free workshop focusing on singing, learning, and fun. No advance reservation is needed. For more information, email glen.mccune1@gmail.com.
